Intraday Forex Momentum – Measuring and Managing Volatility, Trading in line with Pre-defined Risk Principles.

Rakesh Shah – Wednesday the 8th of February (6 pm to 8 pm )
Volatility has had a roller coaster ride, dramatically falling in the last 12 months and the majors have split into 2 categories during this period. Understanding which currency pair to trade is as important as deciding which analysis technique to use for trading the momentum.  How is the trading range for a particular currency pair defined and what to do to take advantage of its relative position/movement in the market map.

During this event, Rakesh Shah will demonstrate the following concepts for managing momentum strategies:-

  1. Matrix of Key strategies and indicators for volatile/non volatile markets.
  2. Challenges with using these indicators, spin this to your advantage. Clever ways to get 2 perspectives.
  3. Alternative hedging approaches for managing the risk. Why leaving something on the table for the next guy changes your profit profile.
